Modalities I use

Trauma Model Therapy (TMT)

Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) is a structured therapy that encompasses a blend of cognitive-behavioral systems, psychodynamic, and experiential principles. According to the trauma model, most, though not all, mental health symptoms are understandable reactions to painful past experiences.

TMT is interwoven throughout the sessions as teachable moments for understanding how your mind works and for making connections between current situations and events from the past. TMT can assist individuals in coping with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and other emotional and psychological challenges. It offers a comprehensive approach to addressing the underlying causes of these difficulties, providing individuals with the tools and insights needed to heal and move forward.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) is a powerfully transformative, cutting-edge model of psychotherapy that can help individuals address a wide range of issues and challenges. In this approach, we get to know the parts of ourselves that keep us from living our most authentic lives.

IFS is effective for working through issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, and personal growth, among others.

This work is typically done with eyes closed, allowing you to get quiet and go deep into your inner world. During this process, we dialogue about the sensations you feel in your body, your emotions, and any memories that may come up. Through this internal inquiry and understanding, deep healing occurs as you come back into alignment with who you truly are.

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive energy healing technique.

This holistic approach can help alleviate stress, anxiety, and emotional turmoil by creating a deep sense of relaxation and calm. Reiki also aids in the release of energy blockages within the body, enhancing overall well-being and vitality.

It's particularly effective in reducing physical pain and discomfort, accelerating the body's natural healing processes, and bolstering the immune system.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed but alert state during which you can bring your current self, full of compassion and current perceptions to understand why old patterns and limiting beliefs continue to keep you from creating the life you want.

As you heal old pain, you will be able to act according to current conditions instead of reacting with old, unhelpful patterns and habits. Your mind is then ready to embrace and act upon your visions and you’ll set yourself free to flourish on your chosen path. Hypnosis is completely safe, we dialogue the whole time, you always have a choice, and you are always in control.

Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology (NLP)

Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology integrates quantum physics, modern neuroscience, performance psychology, hypnosis, spirituality, and common sense. It’s the study of how the mind creates reality through language and behavior, helping individuals enhance their problem-solving skills, improve their communication abilities, boost their overall well-being, and overcome psychological challenges.

In addition to the aforementioned, all sessions may include but are not limited to:
